I’m a big fan of green plants and fresh flowers in the house. In the spring I love to stroll around the market and pick up some green goodies for the home, but with these temperatures I get pretty lazy and pick them up at the supermarket around the corner. Hyacinths are a seasonal favorite and we’ve had them all over the house since November. I love to wrap them up in brown paper that I tie together with black and white bakers twine, like you can see here. It’s pretty sad to through these beauties out after a few weeks. So, when I unwrapped the last ones that were out of bloom I snapt a few shots of their pretty roots before they hit the bin.
